The cash drawer reports in ROBOTILL has been improved. There are two different types of drawer reports in ROBOTILL, one that is printed at the POS point (on the till slip) and another that is printed from ROBOTILL Manager. Both has been improved and a lot more detail was added. It is also now easier to view drawer reports from drawers that has been closed some time ago with the new Cash Drawer Screen. Please Note: With previous versions of ROBOTILL, if a customer withdrew cash at the till with his bank card, it caused the balance in the drawer to go out. This bug has been fixed in version 5.6 and it is suggested that all customers upgrade to the latest version. The POS Software System  ROBOTILL now supports Price Modes. Price modes can be configured and be used for things like 'Happy Hour'. While in the special price mode, the price mode button will remain red and indicate the active mode. The Price Mode feature is available in the Restaurant POS Module and the Retail POS Module. The Price mode will change all the prices to second or third tier prices and can be applied for a period (over several sales) or for a specific sale. Other changes in version 3.61 include the following: The Print Design screen has been improved to allow for easier design in larger size papers. The Price Maintenance and Specials is now easier to use. A Hot Key for price changes was added. Customer VAT Number added to 'Till Slip with account payment'. When it gets to performance, ROBOTILL is one of the best choices. It doesn't matter how many POS points (tills) are connected to the system, it is still very fast. You can speed up the process (payments at tills) even further by removing one small step a cashier needs to do. It's just one button click (or ENTER key) less per transaction … but when a cashiers does a couple of hundred transactions in a day it will make a difference. By default when the payment amount is reached (there can be more than one payment method per sale), the 'Done' button becomes available and the 'Change' the customer should get is displayed in the pay screen (see below). You can change this so that the pay screen will close automatically when the required amount is reached. The cashier will then not need to click on the 'Done' button. The new version of ROBOTILL (Version 3.2) is available for download. Customers using the FREE Edition of ROBOTILL can also upgrade to the new version. With the new version it is much easier and quicker to set up compound stock items (stock items that consists of multiple sub items). Compound items are now specified on the same screen (Sub Item Tab). In the restaurant module waiters can now add notes to items. The notes will be printed on the Order Slips that are printed on the department printers (Kitchen, Bar, etc.) Other enhancements include: Reset Database Tool added. ROBOTILL is a Point of Sale system that you can download and install from the Internet. If the computer you want to install on is not connected to the internet, download the required install files from www.robotill.com and select ‘Save’ instead of ‘Open’ or ‘Run’. You can then copy these files to a USB memory stick (flash drive) and run/open them on the computer where you want to install. Below are the detailed steps to do the full ROBOTILL install (including the database server) on a computer that is not connected to the Internet. Step 1: Download the install files Go to the  ROBOTILL Downloads  and download the following files (Select 'Save' and not 'Run' or 'Open'.) Upgrading to a new version of ROBOTILL ( Point of Sale Software ) is free for all customers including users of the free edition of the POS software. Before you upgrade, remember to do a backup first. Open Manager and click on Tools > Database Backup and Restore > Backup . After you have done the backup, follow the steps below: Open your control panel, go to ‘Uninstall Programs’ and uninstall ROBOTILL. Only ROBOTILL will be uninstalled, not the database or the dataset server. Download the latest version from http://www.robotill.com and run the install file. The new installation will detect that the database server and database is already installed. It will also automatically make the necessary changes to the database. Remember to upgrade all your tills (POS Retail and POS Restaurant) as well as your back office computer (Manager). 

ROTOBILL Version 1.3 has been released. Enhancements include the following: You can now change the ROTOBILL Logo in the POS Application (Till application) with your company logo. The customization of the till slip is now even more flexible. It is now also possible to add a logo (image) to the till slip, account payment slip and refund slip. The system now supports EAN-8 and EAN-13 barcodes for label printing. More will be added soon. A new department report that includes commissions per department was added.
