ROBOTILL version 9.27 introduces fingerprint reader support , giving businesses a faster and more convenient way to identify users at the point of sale. ROBOTILL currently supports the DigitalPersona 4500 USB fingerprint reader . Faster User Identification Cashiers, salespersons and waiters can now use their fingerprint instead of entering a PIN when ROBOTILL needs to identify them. Fingerprint identification is not limited to logging in. It can also be used for other functions where ROBOTILL requires user identification, including table selection, security overrides and other protected functions . Users can still use their PIN if their fingerprint cannot be read or if the fingerprint reader is unavailable.
