Improved PiggyZen Integration The integration between ROBOTILL and PiggyZen has been completely improved and simplified. ROBOTILL can now export accounting information as journal entries that can be imported directly into PiggyZen. This provides a simple way to transfer your ROBOTILL sales and payment information into your accounting system without having to capture the information manually. New QuickBooks Integration Version 9.29 also introduces integration with QuickBooks.   ROBOTILL Version 9.28 is now available! The main focus of this release is a significant improvement to stock taking . Version 9.28 introduces a new Physical Count method that makes it much easier to count stock as you actually find it — especially when working with compound items, packs, boxes and individual units. There are also improvements to cash drawer behaviour and new options to control what information employees can see in the POS applications. New Physical Count Stocktake Previously, stock taking in ROBOTILL worked by setting the quantity of an item to a specific amount. This works well when correcting stock levels, but it can make a full physical stocktake more complicated when the same stock exists in different units. For example, suppose you sell bottled water as: Individual bottles Six-packs containing 6 bottles Boxes containing 24 bottles You might physically count 2 six-packs, 2 loose bottles and 1 box .   ROBOTILL version 9.27 introduces fingerprint reader support , giving businesses a faster and more convenient way to identify users at the point of sale. ROBOTILL currently supports the DigitalPersona 4500 USB fingerprint reader . Faster User Identification Cashiers, salespersons and waiters can now use their fingerprint instead of entering a PIN when ROBOTILL needs to identify them. Fingerprint identification is not limited to logging in. It can also be used for other functions where ROBOTILL requires user identification, including table selection, security overrides and other protected functions . Users can still use their PIN if their fingerprint cannot be read or if the fingerprint reader is unavailable. Register Up to 10 Fingerprints Per User Fingerprints are registered for each user from the ROBOTILL Back Office application. You can register any or all of a user's 10 fingers.   A problem affecting price changes during stock receiving has been fixed in Version 9.26. We strongly recommend that all users update as soon as possible. Under certain circumstances, the bug could cause product prices to be updated incorrectly during stock receiving.
