Need Remote Support?

From time to time, we do get a customer that is unable to resolve the issue, either because they did not follow the instructions or because there is an unusual problem on their computer or network that needs to be resolved.  As a courtesy, we used to connect remotely to assist these customers. We however found that typically customers that require us to connect remotely, do so often. Either because they prefer that ROBOTILL support them remotely instead of following instructions or they frequently make network and server changes requiring us to connect computers that we previously already connected.  If we had to continue to provide this ser

ROBOTILL Version 9.11 Released

  ROBOTILL Version 9.11 has been released. The accounting integration has been improved to make it simpler and easier. It is also more generic to import into other accounting systems. We will be releasing a video on how the new integration works in the next couple of days. The following were also added: New Sales Tax report. It is a detail report of how your total sales tax (VAT) is calculated for a specific period and include invoice numbers and amounts per sale.  Print items added to the order slip layout. These items can be added to the order slip if required.  The new version of the point of sale system can be downloaded here . 

ROBOTILL Version 9.10 released

  ROBOTILL Version 9.10.00 has been released. The free and full edition of the point of sale system can be downloaded from the ROBOTILL website . The following is new in version 9.10: Supervisor access in the ROBOTILL Back Office program has been improved. Previously you could choose what sections in the back office program the supervisors have access to. Now you can select individual tasks, for example stock receiving, label printing, and more.  Your can now export your customers to CSV format for spreadsheets like Excel and to import into other systems.  Sales can now be edited and the payments can be redone if a cashier made a mistake. The default security setting to allow cashiers to edit a sale or payment will require manager authorization but can be changed if needed.   Option has been added to void all open sales when doing a cash-up. Several other quality fixes and improvements have been made.

How to work with tables and tabs in ROBOTILL

  This training video will show you how to work with tables and tabs in the ROBOTILL point of sale system. It will also show you how to set up the restaurant floor plan and select the correct settings for your restaurant or bar. Tables and tabs are available in the free point of sale edition of ROBOTILL as well. 

ROBOTILL Version 9.09 Released

  A new version of the ROBOTILL point of sale system is available for download. We have improved the restaurant table selection screen, added tabs to the restaurant module and several other enhancements.  New in Version 9.09: The table selection screen has been improved. More information is now displayed in the tables. Note that round tables has fallen away and will now display as a square. You can still add round objects to the floor plan.  Tabs: Waiters/Cashiers can now use Tabs when using a table is not convenient - see Tables and Tabs Security task added - View all Tabs. Option added to only use Tabs (tables will fall away) - see Restaurant Settings Lay-By ID added to Lay-By Report. New report: Stock on hold for lay-by Added 'Category' and 'Supplier' to export version of 'Stock on hand' report. GRV Number added to stock receiving report. The new version can be downloaded here .

ROBOTILL Version 9.08 Released

  ROBOTILL Version 9.08 has been released and is available for download. We improved the reports and made a couple of other improvements listed below.  We replaced the charts with detailed data in table format in the reports. This is to allow our development team to phase in new improved charts over the next couple of versions.  The following is new: The 'Prevent removing of ordered items' check setting has been removed from the restaurant settings. This option has been replaced with a security task that can be set in the Security Settings . The new security task will allow you to prevent waiters from removing ordered items while still allowing a supervisor or manager to authorise the removal of the item. When printing labels, you now have the option to use the stock on hand count for the number of labels to print.  Placing a sale on hold is now a security task. You can choose who is allowed to place sales on hold. Reports were improved.  The new version can be downloaded from
