  ROBOTILL just made it easier to work with multiple branches. The ROBOTILL Branch Module has been replaced by our new head office functionality that can be enabled by toggling a switch and entering a key - no other set up required! What Changed? Our ROBOTILL Branch Module was a bit of a mission to set up. It used Google Drive and each branch needed a Google Drive account. You had to install Google Backup and Sync, the Branch Module and Branch Updater. All that is now gone. The new head office support is built into ROBOTILL Back Office - nothing extra to install. It makes use of our own ROBOTILL Head Office Cloud Server.  Cost? If you want to enable Head Office Support to work with multiple branches you will need to purchase an additional licence - only one licence per organization to manage all your branches - the same price as a licence for one till! The Branch Module (Head office application for the ROBOTILL Point of Sale System ) has been improved. With previous versions all products at the head office were rolled out (remotely via the internet) to the various branches (shops). From version 7.16 you can now select specific products to be rolled out to specific branches/shops. The new version gives you the following flexibility: Specific products can be deleted at the branch level but still be kept at the head office and other branches.  You can choose to roll out only new products. The system will look at each branch to see what was added to the system after the specific branch/shop was last updated. You can select specific products for specific branches if some products are only available at specific branches. ROBOTILL improved multiple branch support and stock transfers between branches. Version 7.05 of the ROBOTILL Point of Sale Software system was just released and is is available for download. Branch updates (new products, prices, etc) and transfer instructions are now received automatically throughout the day (with previous versions it was only downloaded automatically once a day or when requested by the user). In ROBOTILL Manager it is also now easy to see when new transfer instructions are received. This is useful when there is only a cashier at the branch and no manager to log into ROBOTILL Manager. The new ROBOTILL Branch Module allows you to manage multiple branches over the Internet, anywhere in the world, from a central location. You can update branches with products and prices and also transfer stock between branches. ROBOTILL always supported any number of tills (POS Computers) and back office computers on a local network using a powerful and robust database (Microsoft SQL Server). You also had the option of using a  cloud server for your Point of Sale System  if a local network was not an option for you. It was however limited to one 'shop'. Now, you can manage multiple shops (branches) over the Internet. Each branch will still have its own database with a local network (or cloud server) to connect the various tills and back office computers at the branch.
