ROBOTILL released new Restaurant Software Module

With version 3 of ROBOTILL, a new Restaurant Module was added that is ideal for Restaurants, Bars and Fast Food shops.

The Restaurant/Bar module can work with any number of tables and waiters. For a full list of features go to http://www.robotill.com and click on Features.

Other enhancements to the Retail module and the back office program (Manager) include the following:

The ‘More’ screen that opens up custom functions was improved. The custom function that allows you to select items from a specific category was improved.

This feature is useful if you want to incorporate a ‘Take-Away’ or other type menu in the Retail module instead of using the full Restaurant module.

Some more enhancements that was done in the Retail Module and Manager (Back Office):
  • With certain tax percentages it was not possible to get to some specific price including amounts. This has now been fixed.
  • If more than one of the same item is scanned instead of increasing the quantity, the items was added to the till slip individually. In version 3 the Qty is increased instead.
  • Some regional settings that used a comma as a decimal delimiter caused problems. This is now fixed.
  • A problem that sometimes occurred when account payments was cancelled has been fixed.
  • The reports where improved.
  • With stock take you can now count the sub items or the compound items. There is also a new Stock Count screen in Manager.
  • You can now do a price override with items where the quantity is greater than 1.
  • Customer change is now displayed in the main screen and the ‘Continue’ button removed from the pay screen.
  • The label print screen has been improved to easier select items and quantities.

  1. Hi

I've downloaded the software and am really impressed! I just want to ask a quick question...Is it at all possible to hide the cash up totals from the cashier? The cashiers must still be able to do the count. The reason I ask is.. When they do the cash up they see exactly how much money they are suppose to have and then if they are over they pocket the money and if the are short the just put the difference into the till.

    Its a very tricky situation.

  2. Hi Heidi

Not currently but we will add this feature to the next version of ROBOTILL. From Manager you will be able to specify if you want the cashiers to be able to see how much cash should be in the till.

    Thank you for the feedback/suggestion.
